Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have had rumors around about their relationship since they signed on to the Twilight series, and this weekend the two left their costars out of it and went to a concert together.

They were out to see Gewa Project, whose frontman is an old friend of Robert’s and who have contributed to the movie soundtracks. Life's a drag for Robert Pattinson

I'm sure Robert Pattinson would make a very pretty girl, but I'm not sure about a cross-dressing prostitute, so it's probably for the best that he didn't get this role...



The Twilight actor has revealed that he once donned girls clothes and full make-up in a bid to win over casting directors at an audition.

"I had an audition to play a transsexual prostitute and thought I'd be the only person going for it, so I went out of my way and put loads of make-up and women's clothing on," he told Glamour magazine. "When I walked into the audition and saw all these guys sitting with there in bad drag, it was the most ridiculous thing ever."

I think vampire get-up suits him much better.

In another photo, the “Twilight” hunk is photographed holding a cigarette between the index and middle fingers of his right hand. Pattinson, who wears a black shirt matched with a black jacket and jeans, is seen trying to pull the zipper of his jacket.

The other pictures of the British actor for Dossier magazine shoot him in cool poses, showing off his thin beard. The location of the photo shoot session is unknown and the exact date when the upcoming edition of the magazine will be published is also unrevealed.

In another Robert Pattinson news, the young actor, who currently is filming his new flick “The Twilight Saga’s New Moon” in Vancouver, is said loving the local food. A manager of a restaurant there claims that Pattinson loves to eat spaghetti mixed with beef meatball and drink Global cocktail.

New Moon filming at a high school in Vancouver

VANCOUVER — Twilight film crews were rolling cameras at David Thompson secondary in Vancouver Monday — and an insider tells The Vancouver Sun they'll be back again Tuesday.



Vampire fans were craning their necks to catch glimpses of the Twilight stars at the high school on East 55th Ave.

It's unclear which New Moon cast members were on location, but stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner are currently filming the blockbuster sequel in Vancouver.

Pattinson was seen dining at Glowbal Grill and Satay Bar in Vancouver's trendy Yaletown last week. A call to the manager confirmed that the teen heartthrobs frequent the restaurant "two or three times a week."

In the past few weeks, fans have been running off their feet to catch glimpse of the stars around the city. Filming crews have been spotted at Minnekhada Regional Park in Coquitlam, in Pitt Meadows and on location at Tofino near Long Beach.

Pattinson also attended the Juno Awards reportedly was friendly towards fans, even giving a hug to a waitress who served him at Azia Restaurant in downtown Vancouver.

Kristen Stewart can still remember the moment when she finally realized how big a bite Twilight was going to take out of her life.

During the filming of the vampire saga, which has gone on to suck up nearly $500 million (U.S.) at the box office, the actress focused on the work at hand, not allowing herself to think about the fans that've turned the Twilight novels by Stephenie Meyer into global bestsellers.



"I had tunnel vision and I wasn't paying attention," she says.

Then Stewart showed up for a book signing in Rome and was given a reception that literally left her rocking and reeling, the crowds were so big and intense.

"While we were exiting the building, I couldn't get to the car," she recalls. "I was dragged by security. I wasn't even on my own feet. I was thrown into a van because if they hadn't done it, I would've gotten ... I don't know what.

British actor Robert Pattinson, 22, told Reuters that the Twilight sequel: New Moon is depressing and strange.

“The book of ‘New Moon,’ the majority of it is incredibly depressing,” Pattinson told Reuters. “Obviously ‘Twilight’ was about finding first love and the difficulties of that, but ‘New Moon’ is really about loss and reconciliation, but the reconciliation isn’t completely full. It’s a strange story to have for a market that, I guess, wants to see a love story,” he said.

Robert Pattinson Reveals Pre-Twilight Gym Obsession

Robert Pattinson may not have become the global heartthrob we know and admire today had he not taken the advice of Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke to ease up on his gruelling workout regime.


The Brit actor says he trained for up to five hours a day in a bid to get in shape for his breakthrough movie role – and ended up looking like a Victoria Beckham-style lolly pop head.

“I used to go to the gym for about five hours a day, but then I started losing so such weight,” he tells Entertainment Weekly.

“My head started to look really huge in comparison to the rest of my body.

“(Catherine Hardwicke) came up to me and said, ‘What are you doing to yourself?’”

Thankfully Rob took his director's advice and began to pack the pounds back on, although it wasn't always easy.

“(To gain weight) I literally stopped exercising,” he reveals.

“Eating a cheeseburger after two-and-a-half months of doing that - it tasted like ambrosia.”
